Celebrating with Friends from Rwanda

Nothing can be better than to experience a country with the people who live there.  I had the good fortune to have local residents generously share their homes and escort me throughout their beautiful country.  Now I have the opportunity to welcome them to Chicago and celebrate the 4th of July with them.    

 Animal cookies for the incredible wildlife I experienced on my journey. . .

. . .and a patriotic collection to celebrate the 250th birthday of our nation. 

 

 

Veterans Day 2018

Lady Liberty will be part of the Elk Grove High School fifth annual salute to Veterans.  Sixty-five cookies are bagged, tagged and ready to be delivered to our Veterans.
